Its the North London Derby again and we have a big task at hand. The win against Olympiacos will give us all the confidence we needed to go strong in this game. We can play our strongest team knowing that we are one foot in the door. But the balance of the team selection is the key to winning this game because Sp*rs got some serious player. Its a winnable game considering the form we are in and the way we are playing, we should be able to create chances against them, putting them away is the question.

Arteta has a very bad record against Mourinho, some might say its only 2 games, but its bad for a derby. If we lose this game it will mean Arsenal have last their last 3 derbies in a row. Arteta need to change this and it should give him motivation the way he set up the team. We should try and go for an experienced line up, brining someone like Lacazette back could be key. Check out my predicted lineup below.

Rating six north London derby scuffles in the Prem: Wilshere v Bale & more - PlanetFootball

GK:

Leno saves us a lot and because of that he doesn’t get criticized enough. To be fair, he does a lot of risky things with his feet. His decision making puts other players in difficult situations. Even though he has been brilliant he need to start calculating the risks before passing the ball out from the back. Sometimes he need to decide to go long to eliminate any chance of getting caught at the back.

DF:

David Luiz has been very consistent even though he almost cost us in the the last game. He is ahead of Holding at the moment and I expect him to start on the right side of defense. I will bring back Mari in this game to partner Luiz, I feel like we need someone that can read the game properly at the back to eliminate Kane. I will also bring Cedric back at right back, I believe he was rested for this game. Tierney continue at left back.

MF:

Partey and Xhaka are our best midfield pair so far, I dont see Arteta changing that. I expect Odegaard to continue in the number 10 role ahead of ESR. He was superb in the last game and his final ball could be key to unlock Sp*rs defense.

FW:

This is where I will freshen up things. I want to see us revert to back to Aubameyang on the left for this game. The idea is to get Lacazette involved his link up play and dropping deep will all Aubameyang the space to run in behind where he could easily be found by Odegaard and Pepe.

Players such as Saka and Emile Smith Rowe could come on to impact the game from the bench.
