Arsenal are back in action this weekend to host Tottenham Hotspurs in the first North London Derby of the season at the Emirates stadium. Its a six-pointer must win game for Arsenal who have enjoyed a great start to the season playing some fantastic football as well.

Tottenham have not won away at Arsenal in the last 12 attempts and this should give Arsenal the edge and confidence to keep that record going. Tottenham are third on the Premier League table but they are sitting only one point behind Arsenal who are in first place. Both teams are in great form as well and Tottenham are yet to lose a game this season.

It’s going to be a tough battle and a chance for Arsenal to get revenge on Tottenham for missing on on top 4 last season. It is therefore a game a type of game Arsenal cannot afford to lose.

Here’s my predicted starting lineup for Saturday:

GK:
In goal for Arsenal it’s Ramsdale who was recently called up by England. Matt Turner will probably come in to play the Europa League game on Thursday.

DF:
Tomiyasu is back and 100% fit and I would prefer him over Ben White for this game because he is a better 1v1 defender. But Arteta will probably keep Ben White at right back and rightly so he has not put a foot wrong and he deserve to continue playing there. I do not expect any changes in the center back position which means Saliba and Gabriel will continue their great partnership there. There’s still no update on Zinchenko’s injury which means Kieran Tierney will start at left-back.

MF:
Unless there’s an injury or Partey fails a late fitness test, I expect Arteta to go with his first-choice midfield three of Xhaka, Partey, and Odegaard.

FW:
The front three picks itself here. It is the kind of game that Arteta doesn’t need to think of changing anything in attack. Saka at right wing, Martinelli at left wing, and Jesus up front. We might see cameo appearances from the bench by Nketiah and Nelson is also back.
