Partey and Aouar are the two most wanted players at Arsenal. The two players have different qualities and play in different midfield positions. To be fair, Arsenal need both to improve the spine of the team. But what if we only have money for one? Who should we go for?

Looking at the midfield options we have, we don’t really have depth and that’s why maybe getting both will be the best but we all know that Arsenal don’t spend money just like that which means we will probably just get one of the two.

Thomas Partey looks the most likely because we don’t have a player at the club that play in his position. Mesut Ozil, Joe Willock and Smith-Rowe are all options we can use in the Aouar position. What we need now is that solid midfielder with an engine to sit and dictate things in midfield. Partey’s signing will also improve our midfield immediately and elevate the game of Ceballos and Xhaka.
