We are playing Leicester City in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night. After winning our opening Premier League games against weaker opponents, it’s to test our form against a better team. Just like us, Leicester have won their 2 last games and are playing very well. So this game won’t be a walk in the park and we need to take the opponent serious to avoid what happened at the Emirates last weekend against West Ham.

I’m expecting Arteta to name a strong squad, despite the fact that we have a tough Premier League against Liverpool next. We should be able to rest a few senior and important players and still put out a decent team to get the job down.

PREDICTION: WIN
Arteta won.t take anything for granted. We have to go for it at the end of it there’s trophy to be won. We need to continue our positive winning mentality during the transition. So we are predicting an Arsenal win.

FORMATION: 3-4-3

GK:
Arsenal’s new boy, Alex Rúnarsson, could make his debut. But there’s some doubts, he didn’t play any competitive match in almost 4 months. So it’s between Leno and Matt Macey

DF:
David Luiz has returned to full training and was involved in the match last week. He will partner Saliba on the right and Gabriel on the left. Saliba will play his first competitive match for Arsenal while Gabriel will play to rest injury prone Holding and Tierney

MF:
This the perfect game to rest Xhaka and go with Elneny and Ceballos in the middle. Joe Willock and Ozil could also have a shot although we expect them to start on the bench. In the wingback positions Arteta will go with Cedric on the right and Maitland-Niles on the left.

FW:
After a successful start to the season, Nketiah is expected to start in the middle. Pepe will start on the left and one of Saka on the right. Nelson and Balogun are expected to make the bench.
