A few academy players could benefit from the absence of first team players that took part in international tournaments during the break. On top of that there are a few players that did not report for pre-season yet. There was no Aubameyang and Lacazette in the pictures shared by the club’s website, there was also no signs of Willian.

A lot of academy players have a chance to join the first team on the trip to Scottland and if they impress they could go to America too. Arsenal U23 goalkeeper James Hillson stand a chance to feature. Leno is not back yet, and Runarrson is linked out, Arthur Okongwo who’s tip to take Runarrson’s place could also be unavailable.

Omar Rekik and Harry Clarke could could travel to support Mari, Holding and Chambers. There’s also a chance that Joell Lopez might feature as we will be without Tierney and Nuno Tavares at left back. Tolaji Bola is linked out on a permanent deal to Sheffield Wednesday he might miss out. Cedric and Chambers are available at right back but there’s a chance to see Zak Swanson make the trip. Osei-Tutu is still out with an injury.

Arsenal will only have Thomas Partey, Willock and Smith Rowe available for the midfield positions. This will give a chance to players such as Miguel Azeez, Ben Cottrell, Charlie Patino and James Olayinka.

Both Saka and Martinelli wont be available, opening up space for Folarin Balogun and John-Jules. Highly rated U23 wingers George Lewis and Taylor-Hart might also get a chance to impress in Scottland.
