It was a game of mixed emotions. In the first 20 minutes we were doing very well but after that it became a roller-coaster game. We made it too difficult for ourselves in the final third. We gave away a lot of possessions and misplaced a lot passes in key areas. However, in the last 30 minutes when Partey came on we were looking a bit better only thing missing was a goal. It could have gone either way and Bernd Leno saved us again multiple times.

The game went a little bit against us, we had to change our first 11. Pablo Mari was ruled and replaced by David Luiz and Tierney was ruled out at the last minutes and replaced by Maitland-Niles, who in my opinion had a very poor game. This game highlights how far we are in terms of quality in depth around the pitch. If one of our main players are not involved we don’t have anyone decent to bring in from the bench.

The Kolasinac loan is starting to look like a bad decision, Arsenal now should prioritize a back up left back. We all thought Maitland-Niles could cover both the right back and left back positions but it doesn’t look like he will. Aubameyang was one of the players who had a very bad game as well we need Martinelli to be fit again so that he can help us in that position. Ceballos played very well but couldn’t get the ball into Smith-Rowe, Xhaka was superb as well. Saka, Smith Rowe and Lacazette were very quite there was really no service for them to feed on. Pepe came on and did really average.

It was a disappointing game after all. Its a game we would have won if Martinelli and Tierney played.
