A successful transfer summer for Arsenal ahead of next season will have to be a smart one. Arsenal have to start thinking about rebuilding the squad. They have a lot of deadwood players who continue to let them down. Arsenal will have to sign roughly around 7 players this summer to get closer to European football. Those will have to be backed up with other serious signings in crucial positions in the following two windows to completely overhaul the Arsenal squad.

With a season out of Europe, Arsenal have to think smart and assemble a smaller squad with enough quality to take them back into Europe. We expect a lot of out of favour players to leave, which will allow Arsenal a chance to sign specific players straight into the first team. The most crucial positions are attacking midfield, central midfield and right back. Arsenal will have to invest heavily in those positions.
