Since our last update Arsenal only had two in and out transfer activities. Goalkeeper Emi Martinez joined Aston Villa for £20m and his replacement 25 year Alex Runarsson joined the club from Dijon for £1.6m. Arsenal have been very quite so far but the manager, Mikel Arteta, has reassured the fans that he has full backing from the owners. He also spoke on how he and Edu work very closely with the board to do whatever they can to improve the squad.
With only one day left until the window shuts Arsenal have a lot of work to do. They have a big clear out list and also have to bring in a few players to give the team a balance. Arsenal have signed some big names on transfer deadline day before in the past few years so its a matter of whether it will get done or not, and if it does who is coming in?
We are all carious to see what our squad for the season will look like. We will quickly look at players who are linked in and out of the club and possible loan deals that could happen tomorrow.
Torreira to Atletico Madrid is a done deal. The player will join on a season long loan worth with an obligation to buy. Sokratis, Kolasinac, Matt Macey, Mustafi, Chambers and Guendouzi could all leave the club tomorrow. Guendouzi is set for a loan move, the rest could leave permanently.
